A Stanley cup goes everywhere: work, the ballfield, church, the school pickup line. A sticker is the easiest way to make yours stand out (and keep it from getting mixed up with everyone else's). Here's how to put a sticker on a Stanley tumbler so it goes on smooth and lasts.
What size sticker fits a Stanley cup?
- 40 oz Quencher: a 3" or 4" sticker. 4" fills the wide upper part of the cup nicely.
- 30 oz and 20 oz tumblers: a 3" sticker.
- Want several? Mix 3" stickers to cover more of the cup. A few small ones sit better on a curved cup than one big one.

How to apply a sticker to a Stanley cup
- Clean it. Wipe the spot with rubbing alcohol to remove fingerprints and oils, then let it dry completely.
- Pick a spot. Use the straight upper part of the cup, on the side opposite the handle. The lower part tapers to fit a cupholder, and stickers don't sit as flat there.
- Room temperature only. Don't apply a sticker to a cup that's cold from ice water or hot from the dishwasher.
- Start in the middle. Peel the backing, place the center of the sticker first, and smooth out toward the edges with your thumb or a credit card. That pushes out air bubbles.
- Press the edges. Hold firm pressure around the edge for about 30 seconds.
- Give it a day. Wait 24 hours before washing so the adhesive can set.

Keeping your sticker looking new
- Hand-wash when you can. Our stickers are waterproof, laminated vinyl, but a hot dishwasher cycle is the hardest thing on any sticker.
- Skip the scrub pad over the sticker. A soft sponge is all it needs.
- Edge starting to lift? Dry it, then press it back down firmly. Lifting usually means the cup wasn't fully clean or dry when it went on.
How to remove a sticker from a Stanley
Warm the sticker with a hair dryer for 30 to 60 seconds, then peel slowly from one corner. Any leftover residue wipes off with a little rubbing alcohol.
